Free training for transitioning military, spouses offered by Google

Google Career Certificates and Google Cloud training and certifications are free for transitioning military service members and spouses enrolled in the Department of Labor's Employment Navigator and Partnership Pilot at certain military installations, including Camp Pendleton and Miramar

Service members transitioning out of the military into the civilian workplace can take advantage of free Google training and certifications.

The Grow with Google team worked with the Center for Veteran Transition and Integration at Columbia University and FourBlock, a New York-based nonprofit that helps service members transitioning to civilian careers. The group worked on designing training material and the effort resulted in Applied Digital Skills lessons that help veterans find a job and achieve their goals in the civilian workforce.

Participants who complete the Google Career Certificate program have access to a group of more than 150 employers interested in hiring Google’s Certificate graduates. Participants can also choose one of the Google Cloud certification preparation courses, then pursue a certification at no cost to prepare for jobs such as cloud engineer, cloud developer and security engineer.
