Telford College, in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council and Lovell Partnerships, is launching free training courses to help individuals gain qualifications and skills for the construction industry. The 'Built By You' initiative offers four-week programs for unemployed individuals aged 19 and above, providing a level 1 qualification and on-the-job experience. Each cohort will consist of up to 10 candidates, with four intakes per year.

The flagship initiative is designed to boost skills and support people into a future career in the construction industry.
The four-week programmes, which start at Telford College on April 8, are for people aged 19 and above who are not in work, and include a guaranteed job interview for everyone who completes the studies.
