Molson Coors partners with DART to offer free rides on New Year's Eve for DFW residents.
If you are heading to downtown Dallas, Fort Worth or other parts of DFW for a New Year's Eve celebration, you will be able to get a ride for free. Molson Coors has teamed up with several public transit systems across the country to offer free rides on New Year's Eve . That includes Dallas Area Rapid Transit in the DFW area. Free rides will be offered on the DART bus, rail, TRE commuter rail service, GoLink and paratransit service routes up to and including the CentrePort rail station.
The free service will begin at 6 p.m. and continues until the end of service. Molson Coors is also offering fare-free rides on New Year’s Eve for transit lines in Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee, Phoenix and Washington, D.C. 'This program helps people celebrate responsibly, providing them a way to get home safely,' Molson Coors Community affairs manager Alison Hanrahan. 'We are proud to be able to provide free rides in these markets for our consumers and our employees.' 'As an integral part of the Dallas-area communities, DART is proud to be partnering again with Coors Light to provide free, reliable transportation this New Year’s Eve,' said Jeamy Molina, DART executive vice president and chief communications officer. 'Whether you’re celebrating with friends or family, plan for DART to deliver you to and from your festivities.' Last year, 200,000 people rode for free across the U.S. as a part of Molson Coors' program. That includes more than 31,000 free rides in the Dallas area.
