Zachary Levi has been tapped to star in Free Fall, a new rock-climbing action movie directed by Death Proof's Zöe Bell.
. The movie’s script was written by Sean Finegan and Gregg Maxwell. Production is expected to begin later this year.“The film tells the story of a father’s attempt to reconcile with his estranged daughter on a rock-climbing trip that turns deadly as an accident leaves them stranded hundreds of feet in the air,” Variety’s description of the film reads.
Levi is known for playing the adult version of Billy Batson in DC’s Shazam! movies. He also played the titular character in NBC’s Chuck and Fandral in Marvel’s Thor franchise. He’ll next be seen in Harold and the Purple Crayon, which releases in United States theaters this August.
