The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce has unveiled its lineup of presentations for the Food & Wine Festival in October.
Want to learn how to break down and cook a feral hog, or how best to pair artisan cheeses and wines for your next dinner party? Check out culinary demonstrations at the Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival, which is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26. Add-on tickets for the presentations went on sale this week, and range from $35 to attend the “ Blend It Like Becker ” wine blending competition to $75 to watch Chef Jesse Griffiths break down a wild boar into chops, roasts and hams.
New Braunfels' Wurstfest starts ticket sales, announces music lineup Other presentations include a presentation on different meet grades and cuts, a ribs and caviar pairing and a demo on making homemade butter tortillas from scratch. Attendees must purchase both a festival badge and the add-on badge to attend most demonstrations. Tickets start at $150 for general admission badges, but locals in certain ZIP codes can buy passes for $100.
