Former England cricketer Freddie Flintoff was almost killed in a horror Top Gear crash in December 2022 and he credits the team on his show Field of Dreams with helping him through the trauma
Cricket icon Freddie Flintoff has opened up about how his involvement with the TV show Field of Dreams supported him through the difficult period following a near-fatal Top Gear accident.
"I think in some ways that was almost a blessing - not the accident, but the fact that the lads were a year older. Now 46, the former England all-rounder has candidly expressed that he "shouldn't be here" after the incident at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey on December 13, 2022. During the filming, Flintoff was behind the wheel of a £43,000 Morgan Super 3 three-wheeler when it lost control and overturned on the track.
