The Frasier reboot sees Frasier Crane start a new life back in Boston with Freddy — something that he predicted would happen 30 years ago.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Frasier actually predicted his rather sad fate 30 years later in the Frasier reboot. Kelsey Grammer reprises his iconic character on the small screen via the Paramount+ series, which sees him returning to Boston. This marks his first time settling back in New England after spending more than a decade in his hometown of Seattle and then eventually in Chicago.
Frasier's Seattle apartment remains one of the most iconic TV flats, so there is excitement to see what his dwelling is going to be like in Boston. Motivated by his goal of repairing his dynamic with Freddy, he buys the whole apartment building that he lives in. In the closing moments of the Frasier reboot pilot, he essentially coerces his son to move in with him, which Freddy eventually does, but it expectedly creates tension between them in episode 2, "Moving In.
This specific fear for Frasier wasn't rooted in him also having suffered a mobility impediment like Martin had. Instead, it was from his distress over not finding anyone to spend the rest of his life with. After Lilith's traumatizing infidelity, Frasier attempted to move on by constantly socializing and going on multiple dates. However, he couldn't seem to make any relationship last.
