Isaac Johnson, 17, was reported as missing from the Glen Moidart area in the Highlands at around 11pm on Saturday
Police, the coastguard, and mountain rescue teams are carrying out extensive searches for Isaac and officers are now appealing for information in their efforts to trace the teenager.
It's understood Isaac was walking in the area south of Greag Nan Lochan before heading north east. When last seen he was wearing shorts, a rain jacket and walking boots. He was also carrying an Adidas bag. Chief Inspector Donna Allan said: “Isaac set off on his walk around lunchtime on Saturday and has failed to return home, and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. This is an extremely worrying time for his family.
