Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose looks to be voting against the esteemed League of Women voters and easy access to voting..CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Looks like Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose thinks the best ‘drop box’ is a dumpster to drop the lauded League of Women Voters reputation in next to legitimate Ballot Drop boxes.
The League of Women Voters had sued LaRose and Ohio arguing the law was a violation of both the Voting Rights Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Ohio’s Secretary of State now not only wants strict restrictions on Drop Box use, he sent a letter to the Ohio legislature calling for the boxes to be banned.
