A member of the congregation of the Franciscan Apostolic Sisters has been recognized for her work with the indigenous people in Cagayan province, according to a report posted on the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines .Sr. Minerva Caampued is the chosen recipient of the St. Teresa of Calcutta Award by the AY Foundation of the Yuchengco Group of Companies, and the Manila Jaycees.
"Sister Minerva’s dedication also extends to environmental protection, healthcare, and feeding programs for the Agtas.
