Fran Drescher rewears iconic look from 'The Nanny'

“Everything was like, ‘How far can I push this without tipping it over the edge?’” Cooper told the outlet of her approach. She added, “Clothing is incredibly important, and I think sometimes in the industry it’s not treated with the importance it deserves. I wanted to make a statement. I wanted to show that wardrobe plays an important role in the story.”
While many fans might agree that the outfits of Fran Fine should be in a museum, the truth is somewhat disappointing.told Hello Giggles in 2018 . “It’s like a graveyard of all of these clothes. I went to track down the wardrobe which was at Sony, and it had just been sold to a thrift store in the Valley. I called the thrift store and I begged them; I told them I was the designer of 'The Nanny' and they wouldn’t help me. People today have pieces of clothing in their wardrobe that are the original 'Nanny' wardrobe and probably don’t know that.
