Fox Sports' multitalented play-by-play man Joe Davis reveals an assignment he'd relish in the NFL.
Joe Davis wears many hats in the broadcasting world.As a national play-by-play voice, Fox Sports has used him on its MLB, NFL, NCAA football, and NCAA basketball broadcasts. The 36-year-old is entering his second season as the No. 2 announcer on the network's NFL team, this year teaming up with analyst Greg Olsen and sideline reporter Pam Oliver.Davis is also in his ninth season as the play-by-play voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
'Davis has three young children at home in Los Angeles, in addition to his broad range of work duties.'I will follow that very quickly by saying I hope Kevin Burkhardt does a hundred of those,' he said. 'Kevin's good. He's as good as anybody out there and deserves to do it as long as he wants.'Burkhardt is the lead play-by-play voice on Fox Sports' NFL roster.
