Journalist Mara Liasson explained why she believes conservative media isn't giving the former president as much coverage as they did in 2016.
host Howard Kurtz questioned why Trump has not received the same breadth of media coverage for his recent remarks, particularlyinto whether Biden, as vice president, mishandled classified Obama-era documents that were recently discovered. Trump is also being investigated for keeping classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, after leaving the White House in 2021.
Liasson, a longtime NPR reporter and Fox News contributor, responded by suggesting conservative media is trying to shift away from Trump, who remains a popular and powerful figure in conservative politics.
