Four-time Olympic gold medallist and Britain’s most successful track athlete Mo Farah has hung up his shoes for the last time after completing his final race in England’s North East half marathon run. Mo Farah announced it was time to retire from running and enjoy himself while watching his football team, Arsenal. In an illustrious career, Mo has won an Olympic gold medal four times, including two in London in front of a home crowd which has been remembered by millions. In recent years, Sir Mo had been struggling with long-distance running following the Olympic champion's failure to qualify for the delayed Tokyo Games in 2021 due to injury doubles. Mo Farah also had to pull out of the London Marathon in 2022 due to a hip injury.
