The incident happened between Templepatrick and the Sandyknowes Roundabout on Sunday, March 5.Read more: Belfast mum attacked while out pushing child's pramA Northern Ireland Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 21:25 on Sunday, 05 March 2023 following reports of an incident in the M2 J5 to J4 Area, Belfast.
"NIAS despatched three Ambulances, two Ambulance Officers, and one Rapid Response Paramedic to the scene of the incident. "Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, three patients were taken to Royal Victoria Hospital by Ambulance and one patient was taken to Royal Victoria Hospital by a Rapid Response Paramedic."
In an update, Police Antrim and Newtownabbey said: "Motorists are advised that the south bound lanes of the M2 motorway between Templepatrick and the Sandyknowes Roundabout have now reopened to traffic following a road traffic collision.For all the latest news, visit the Belfast Live homepage here.
