According to the State Bureau of Investigation, the shooting happened at around 10:34PM near the 200 block of Broadnax Street.
Dadeville City Council Member Teneeshia Goodman-Johnson confirmed the shooting to CNN, and said it happened at a gathering. According to multiple reports, the shooting happened at a teenager’s birthday party. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has launched a death investigation at the request of the Dadeville police chief.
The following agencies responded to the scene and are currently assisting with the investigation: The Dadeville Police Department, Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives , Federal Bureau of Investigations and the 5We are working to get more information from law enforcement on the victims and whether the shooter is in custody.This morning, I grieve with the people of Dadeville and my fellow Alabamians.
