A man was allegedly kidnapped and held inside a Sydney home against his will, suffering serious injuries to his face and legs before being found by police. Police began investigating the alleged kidnapping of a 33-year-old man sometime in February. On Saturday, following inquiries, NSW Police say they conducted a “large-scale police operation” at a house on Webb St, North Parramatta about 9.40pm.
After searching the house, police located several items including drugs, ammunition and electronic devices that they believe were used in the alleged kidnapping. “These were all seized for forensic examination,” NSW Police said. All three were charged with take or detain in company with intent to get advantage occasioning actual bodily harm and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity. They were refused bail and appeared before Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.

Young Man Dies in Four-Car Crash North of SydneyA young man has died following a four-car crash north of Sydney last week. Three trucks and a ute collided on Peats Ridge Rd at Wisemans Ferry at 10.40am on Tuesday February 6, with a 29-year-old man taken to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition. He remained in hospital until he later died at 8.25pm on Saturday. A 35-year-old man was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition. Another man, aged 44, was taken to Gosford Hospital in a serious but stable condition. A 27-year-old man was not injured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing. A crime scene was established. A report has been prepared for the coroner.
