The incident happened just after 7 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Remsen and Seaview avenues in Canarsie.A woman gardening nearby heard a car speed by, before two patrol vehicles with their sirens on raced past and crashed into the car. Laura G. was gardening when she heard a car speed by. Moments later, two police cars with sirens on crashed into the speeding vehicle, according to the witness. “The two cop cars were totaled. It was like tuna fish cans,” said the Canarsie resident, who gave her name as Laura.The officers suffered non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.“If there were people in the island waiting they would be killed.
