Four people were arrested and knives and hammers seized by police after a "vicious and premeditated" attack on a home on a Bury estate. Police were called to a disturbance on Kestrel Drive at 10.50pm last night and a man was taken to hospital with injuries to his back.
Three men, aged 23, 43 and 56, have been arrested on suspicion of assault. A man aged 29 was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. Several weapons including a hammer and knives were seized. “Last night’s attack was vicious and premeditated and I want to reassure the public we are working around the clock to piece together what happened, why and locate any outstanding offenders.
