They can be a great way of quickly healing in a pinch if you’ve got the wood, but it can often be faster to just find some bandages in a nearby chest, making campfires a bit of a forgotten mechanic for many players.
But with the Fire Chakra quests in Fortnite becoming available as part of the Avatar crossover, one particular quest requires you to head across the map and light some of these campfires. So if you’re looking to get it done and dusted quickly, we’ve got every campfire location for you to scope out.In total, there are currently eight different campfires distributed unevenly across the entire map.
If you’re only looking to get the quest done, there are a few good choices on which campfire to light. The campfires north of Lavish Lair and southwest of Pleasant Piazza are both fairly remote, and so are good choices if you don’t want to be competing with other players. We would also recommend both Pleasant Piazza and the lake east of Restored Reels as these will both have a shrine nearby. This is especially true in the case of the lake campfire, though this may make it a little more competitive in terms of players landing here. Of course, you could just land somewhere nearby to get some weapons first before heading to one of these campfires.
