A Fort Worth police officer was fired Tuesday following an investigation into an incident earlier this year during which he allegedly pulled out a gun during an argument.
Fort Worth police learned that Michael Williams was involved in an argument Feb. 17 at a business in Boyd, about 30 miles northwest of Fort Worth in Wise County, and that he displayed a gun in a threatening manner, according to the department. Police Chief Neil Noakes “concurred” with the findings of the investigation, and Williams’ employment was terminated, the department said.
