Cibolo police said 66-year-old Jerrard Keil, of Fort Worth, died in a single-vehicle accident overnight.
A 66-year-old Fort Worth man died early Wednesday in a crash in Cibolo. The Cibolo police and fire departments responded to a single motor accident at 6:15 a.m. near FM 78 and Broad Oak Drive when someone saw an overturned vehicle off the roadway in a field next to the Trophy Oaks Apartments . Police said a white Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound on FM 78 when it veered off the right side of the roadway near Broad Oak Drive . The driver veered to the right and hit a dirt embankment.

The driver, identified as Jerrard Keil, was found dead inside the vehicle. Police said there were no witnesses to the single-vehicle accident. They also believed the crash occurred at an “unknown time overnight” when it was too dark for anyone to notice the vehicle in the field.
