Persistent rain saw the paddock at the circuit in Imola, northern Italy, evacuated on Tuesday because of the risk of flooding.Flooding has affected the region in northern ItalyF1 personnel were then told to stay away on Wednesday with the confirmation of its cancellation being announced.
"We also want to pay tribute to the work of the emergency services who are doing everything they can to help those in need.
