Former XPDC frontman Mael dies FMTNews
XPDC was considered to be one of Malaysia’s legendary rock bands in the 1990s, with hits such as C.I.N.T.A., Nafisa and Hentian Ini.
The band’s manager, known only as Bro Yazid, announced his passing on a Facebook post at around 10pm. The post had received 346 comments, 775 reactions and 768 shares as of 11.50pm, with many fans praying for Ismail and his family, expressing their condolences. According to Astro Awani, Ismail will be buried at the Bakri Islamic cemetery at Batu 6, Muar, tomorrow.
