A beloved former WWE Champion has given an update about his highly-anticipated in-ring return.
Big E has consistently been one of the most beloved wrestlers in WWE.Along with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, Big E helped make the New Day one of the most popular stables in professional wrestling history, winning multiple tag team championships.Big E eventually became so popular that he won the WWE Championship over Bobby Lashley on Sept. 13, 2021.However, Big E's career came to a screeching halt when he suffered a serious neck injury during a match in March 2022.
So, we'll see what the future holds.'While Big E remains hopeful, he also acknowledges that time may be running out for him to get back in the squared circle.'Mind you, there's kind of a race against the clock,' Big E said. 'I'm 38. I'm no spring chicken anymore so, if I were to be cleared, hopefully it would happen within the next year or so.
