Former Vice President Mike Pence has been issued a subpoena by Jack Smith, the special counsel overseeing criminal investigations of ex-President Donald Trump.
One of those probes is focused on Trump's efforts to overturn his loss in the 2020 election to President Joe Biden, which included pressuring Pence to refuse to certify Electoral College results.
Smith is also investigating Trump for his removal of White House documents and their shipment to his Mar-a-Lago club when he left office.
