A former Trump White House adviser is vowing to"lead the charge" in exacting political retribution against leading Democrats if Republicans win back power in Washington this year.
"We’ll start with the impeachment of Biden," Navarro said Thursday, citing the war in Ukraine, the U.S.-Mexico border situation, and"all manner of things he is guilty of."Navarro also told MSNBC host Ari Melber he would push for subpoenas against top House Democrats, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi as well as Jan. 6 panel members Jamie Raskin , Adam Schiff , and Elaine Luria and senior staff serving Biden."You bet your ass that I will lead the charge," he said.
— The Beat with Ari Melber on MSNBC 📺 June 2, 2022 With his lawsuit filed Tuesday, Navarro revealed he was served a federal grand jury subpoena, which he said demanded that he share documents sought by a subpoena from the House committee investigating the Capitol riot. His refusal to cooperate with the congressional subpoena, which also sought testimony, resulted in the House recommending that the Justice Department charge Navarro with contempt of Congress.
