Yazmin Oukhellou, who left the reality show TOWIE after a serious car accident that killed her boyfriend, is seen on a lively night out in Spain with a friend, showcasing her progress amid recent cosmetic surgery recovery.
Yazmin Oukhellou , a former cast member of the reality television series The Only Way Is Essex ( TOWIE ), is currently on holiday in the Costa del Sol, Spain.
The 31-year-old was observed in high spirits during a night out with a male companion, model Shane Smith. The evening began at an exclusive private club where the group enjoyed a poolside ambiance accompanied by live DJ performances. Later, they proceeded to the bustling Puerto Banus marina, appearing slightly disheveled but cheerful as they strolled and conversed before concluding their night with dinner at a local Italian restaurant.
Oukhellou shared images from the outing, including playful kisses with Smith, whom she referred to as 'my baby for life' on social media. Oukhellou initially joined TOWIE in 2017 and became a prominent figure largely due to her highly publicized and turbulent relationship with fellow cast member James Lock. She made the decision to permanently leave the show in 2023.
This departure was partly motivated by her focus on recovering from a severe car accident that occurred in July 2022 in Bodrum, Turkey. The incident involved the vehicle driven by her then-boyfriend, Jake McLean, which plunged from a mountainous road into a ravine. McLean tragically lost his life, while Oukhellou, a passenger, sustained serious injuries requiring hospitalization. Since exiting reality television, Oukhellou has pivoted her career toward becoming a social media influencer and has also opened a beauty salon.
Her recovery journey has been extensively documented online. In April, she shared graphic postoperative photographs following cosmetic surgery procedures performed in Turkey. The operations included a temporal lift, a neck and jaw lift, and 360-degree liposuction. In her accompanying statement, she described being 'swollen, bruised and sore' but emphasized her trust in the healing process.
She clarified that she was not promoting surgery but was choosing honesty with her followers about her experiences. The recent holiday appears to be a part of her ongoing recuperation and personal well-being following these extensive medical interventions and the profound loss she endured
