Lanning's Capitals secure WPL final | 01:20Former Sri Lankan cricketer Lahiru Thirimanne is in a stable condition after he was involved in a head-on collision on Thursday morning.
The 34-year-old, who represented Sri Lanka in 44 Tests and 127 ODIs, was taken to Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital after colliding with a lorry travelling the opposite direction. New to Kayo?After making his international debut in 2010, Thirimanne played 197 matches for Sri Lanka, scoring 5573 runs including seven centuries.
He participated in three T20 World Cup campaigns, helping Sri Lanka win its maiden title in 2014, along with two World Cups in 2015 and 2019.
