Dan Mullen went 103-61 in 13 seasons at Mississippi State and Florida
Dan Mullen, formerly head coach at Mississippi State and Florida, is reportedly set to take over at UNLV. The 52-year-old Mullen has been out of coaching since 2021, when he was fired after four seasons at Florida. He has worked the last three years as a college football analyst for ESPN and the SEC Network.
Mullen had his most-sustained success at Mississippi State, whom he coached to a 69-46 record and five bowl wins from 2009-17. He then jumped to Florida, where he went 29-9 in his first three seasons — including an SEC East championship in 2020 — before things unraveled quickly in 2021.
