Chris Steele, the former president of the San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association, was arrested in San Marcos on suspicion of a third-degree felony.

The former president of the San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association was arrested Friday in San Marcos on suspicion of intimidation or stalking, according to Hays County jail records. Christopher A. Steele, 57, was arrested on an arrest warrant out of Bexar County , the records show. He was released the next day on a $3,000 bond. Intimidation or stalking is a third-degree felony. Steele joined the San Antonio Fire Department in 1985.
