Lynch was stopped near the Strip 'for suspected driver impairment.'
Oakland Technical High School where he earned the nickname Beast Mode while playing football for the Bulldogs. In 2003, as an All American running back, he led the team to its first championship since 1951. He was rated the No. 2 running back in the nation during his senior year, according to Oakland Tech's website. Lynch went on to play at UC Berkeley, where he was an All-American and the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year.
Lynch played 12 seasons in the NFL, starting with the Buffalo Bills in 2007. He played three seasons with the Bills before joining the Seattle Seahawks in 2010, and going on to win a Super Bowl ring with the team in 2014. Lynch retired after the 2015 season due to injuries but jumped back in the game with the Oakland Raiders in 2017. After two seasons with the Raiders, he called it quits again before rejoining the Seahawks. He retired a third and final time after one season.
