The former president of South-Central Pennsylvania Softball based in York County has been charged after admitting to sending sexually inappropriate messages to a teenage boy.The man is 32-year-old Jeffrey Tierno. He was president of South-Central PA Softball from Jan. 1 until last Friday, Oct. 6.According to investigators, on Aug. 5, Tierno started a conversation with a teenage boy on social media, where he began asking for sexual favors during a conversation.
The boy told his mother, who then went to Elizabethtown police. He was arrested on Sept. 27 and charged with four felonies, including solicitation of sexual acts and unlawful contact with a minor.A statement on South Central PA Softball's website says Tierno resigned last Friday after they became aware of the charges.
