Trump will speak at the Dayton International Airport in Vandalia on Nov. 7, his second trip to Ohio in as many months.

Trump is Vance's most high-profile backer, but other GOP leaders including Sens. Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham have barnstormed Ohio in recent weeks to boost Vance's campaign. Republicans say Ohio is critical to ensuring they reclaim the Senate majority as they contend with close races in Pennsylvania, Georgia and other battleground states.. Doors open at 3 p.m., and Trump is scheduled to speak at 8 p.m. Vance and other speakers will begin taking the stage at 5 p.m.

The former president will also use the event to tout other Ohio candidates he endorsed, including Republicans who are competing in key congressional races near Akron, Toledo and Cincinnati. Haley BeMiller is a reporter for the USA TODAY Network Ohio Bureau, which serves the Columbus Dispatch, Cincinnati Enquirer, Akron Beacon Journal and 18 other affiliated news organizations across Ohio.
