A pawnshop employee was shot dead in Parañaque by someone who allegedly sought revenge from one of his previous jobs as a law enforcement asset.According to a "24 Oras" report by Marison Abdurahman on Thursday, CCTV footage from the morning of the incident showed two suspects arriving on a motorcycle prior to the shooting and parking near motorcycles before one of the suspects left.
“Narinig ko lang po yung tatlong putok, tapos meron lang po ako nakita na tumakbo,” added another witness.Parañaque police are looking into revenge as a possible motive for the crime, as the victim used to be an asset in law enforcement operations.“Lahat ng kanyang trabaho sa law enforcement ay nauwi sa positibong pagkakaaresto sa mga suspect. Paghihiganti ng mga napakulong nitong asset na nagsisilbi ano,” said Parañaque Police Investigation Section Chief Captain Melvin Garcia.
