Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jeremy McNichols shined with the Washington Commanders.

Tennessee Titans RB Jeremy McNichols breaks through the Eagles defensive line during the second quarter of a preseason game at Lincoln Financial Field, Thursday, August 8, 2019. Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jeremy McNichols shined in one of the best outings of his career with the Washington Commanders on Sunday. In their win over the Arizona Cardinals, McNichols scampered for two touchdowns and 68 yards on just eight rushes. He added a reception to that total.

McNichols has found trouble finding a new spot in the NFL over the years, as some injuries have popped up, but the Commanders were finally the spot where he cracked through, and he made the most of it on Sunday. McNichols spent time in 2022 with the Steelers in training camp but suffered a hamstring injury that forced the team to waive him shortly into his stay in Latrobe. Now under the guidance of a dynamite Washington Commanders passing attack led by Jayden Daniels, McNichols has found a home where he can maximize his speed and one-cut running style to great effect.
