Mack began his college career with the Nittany Lions, spending one season in State College before giving Tuscaloosa a try.As a sophomore, Mack played in 12 of Alabama ’s 13 games in 2024. He finished the season with 14 total tackles.
The 5-foot-10, 206-pound Miami native earned praise from Alabama’s staff entering the season, after joining the Crimson Tide during the spring. “He’s a very fast individual,” UA defensive coordinator Kane Wommack said in August. “Very physical, he’s got some really good instincts. He seems to be really making plays on the ball. I would say when we go scrimmage-like situations he tends to elevate his game. I don’t know if you call the word a ‘gamer’ or whatever it may be, right, but I think he’s a very instinctive football player. I’ve been very pleased with how he’s taken to the defense.
Mack originally went to Penn State as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class.
