After missing out on veteran former Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker who signed with TS Galaxy, SuperSport United are risking missing out on yet another top player in this transfer window.
Like Parker who had been training with Matsatsantsa, former Orlando Pirates defender Wayde Jooste also got an opportunity to train with the Tshwane outfit though the club doesn’t seem to have made a decision on him just yet. With the team having had a slow start to the season after failing to register a single victory from three matches, it had been expected that Jooste would be added to coach Gavin Hunt’s squad to strengthen for what promises to be a tough season.
Having won their first match last weekend against Pirates, the Chilli Boys are keen to further strengthen their squad to compete this season and the 30-year-old former Highlands Park player is one of the options for the club, according to sources.
