Former Olympic figure skater Michelle Kwan joins Joe Biden's presidential campaign
The Olympic medalist, 38, will serve as the former vice president’s surrogate director, the Washington Post reported on Thursday.
“We are in the battle for the soul of this nation,” he said. “I believe history will look back on four years of this president and all he embraces as an aberrant moment in time.” Kwan continued: “He has worked side by side with @barackobama to pass the Affordable Care Act, which expanded health insurance to 20 million people and protected people with pre-existing conditions. He championed marriage equality and remains at the forefront of ensuring LGBTQ rights.”
