Former Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. reportedly informs NFL teams that he will not work out at Ohio State's pro day.
According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, Harrison has informed NFL teams that he will not participate in the event's drills and tests. His decision is not unexpected, as HarrisonOhio State Pro Day is today, and teams have been informed that all-everything WR Marvin Harrison Jr. will not be working out for scouts. Will be relatively quiet in Columbus, with so many high-end draft prospects choosing to stay in school, no GMs or HCs scheduled to be there.
In April, Harrison – who does not have an agent – will look to become one of the highest-drafted wide receiver prospects in recent history, joining an elite cast of pass-catchers like Julio Jones , Ja'Marr Chase , A.J. Green and Calvin Johnson . He is expected to be the highest-drafted Ohio State wide receiver ever, surpassing Terry Glenn, who was the No. 7 overall pick in 1996.
Buckeyes expected to participate in Ohio State's pro day include Xavier Johnson, Cade Stover, Matt Jones, Mike Hall, Tommy Eichenberg, Steele Chambers and Josh Proctor.Ohio State's pro day will start at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
