Former Ohio State wide receiver Kyion Grayes will play for Cal next season.
Grayes never made much impact in his two seasons in Columbus, catching one pass for 2 yards while redshirting as a freshman and not playing at all in 2023 as he was sidelined with an injury that forced him into a walking boot.in the class of 2022, Grayes was the No. 88 overall prospect and No. 14 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite rankings.
There wasn't a clear path to playing time for Grayes in 2024 either, with Emeka Egbuka, Carnell Tate, Brandon Inniss, Jeremiah Smith, Jayden Ballard and Bryson Rodgers appearing ahead of him on the depth chart. The Weekender: Deion and Shedeur Sanders Become College Football Villains, Bowl Opt-Outs Could Be on the Way Out, and New Info on EA Sports College Football 25 Cover Athletes
