Former NYPD Commissioner Sewell to join New York Mets as head of security
Former NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell is taking a job leading security for the New York Mets, according to a statement from the team.
The Mets declined to specify how much Sewell will be paid annually. She earned $243,171 per year while with NYPD. The current head of Mets security is Stephen Dillon, a former NYPD detective. A Mets spokesperson said in an email that Dillon will work under Sewell.
