Jim Harbaugh, now the coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, has been reprimanded by the NCAA for Michigan's recruiting violations.

But Harbaugh was still hammered by the NCAA — for recruiting violations, not for the Wolverines’ sign-stealing scandal.
The NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions determined that Harbaugh “violated recruiting and inducement rules, engaged in unethical conduct, failed to promote an atmosphere of compliance and violated head coach responsibility obligations.” Again, Harbaugh is coaching in the NFL now. So none of this really affects the 2023 national champion unless he wants to return to the college ranks within the next four years. But more NCAA violations could be levied against Harbaugh and the Wolverines in due time.received its notice of allegations from the NCAA last week on the sign-stealing scandal that became a massive storyline in college football last year.
Moore was Michigan’s interim head coach last season while Harbaugh was suspended, coaching the team to four wins, including a 24-15 victory over Penn State.
