PETALING JAYA: Former MIC Youth chief Senator Datuk Sivarraajh Chandran has announced his resignation from the party effective Tuesday (June 27).
"With a heavy heart, it is better for me to leave MIC because I want to perform my responsibilities as a senator and an Indian community leader without any restrictions or 'censorship'.
Sivarraajh said the decision to leave was because there were certain individuals that painted him as a threat to the party.
