The post-career struggles of former Dallas Mavericks guard Delonte West continued this week following another arrest in Virginia.

He was found unresponsive after an initial attempt to evade officers trying to serve him a warrant. Records show West still remains in custody.
Former Mavericks governor Mark Cuban has many times tried to help West re-steady his life, including in October 2020 when Cuban, waited with him at a hotel to reconnect with his mother and paid for his in-patient treatment at a Florida drug rehabilitation facility.. “I mean, addiction is awful.
