Former Los Angeles Rams and Oklahoma State cornerback Ramon Richards hosts a camp in San Antonio with Former Texas and Rams running back Malcolm Brown.
On a 90 degree morning, Veterans Memorial rising sophomore Josiah Villarreal woke up to get one step closer to reaching his dream. Villarreal wants to be an NFL player, so before his summer started, he created a detailed spreadsheet with the names of different football camps throughout the state. “I want to be in the Hall of Fame,” Villarreal said. “I want to try to win a Super Bowl and be one of the greatest players of all time. And it's got to start somewhere.
“Basically just how he can build himself every day, and get better every single day.” Brown, who had his own camp last week, wanted to come out and support Richards. “I'm on a different side of town, but to be able to see somebody on this side of town giving back,” Brown said. “Ramon is doing a great thing. He has an amazing venue and is giving these kids an experience.” Richards and Brown played together briefly with the Los Angeles Rams.
