District officials did not express any regret over the mandate during the Sept. 26 meeting, noting that both the implementation and repeal were decisions justified by the conditions of the two different time periods.
Former employees involved in litigation against LAUSD are hoping that a court judgement will prevent any future mandates., filed by 20 former members of the Los Angeles School Police Department, is pending in the Los Angeles Superior Court. Quiroz was out of a job and pay for almost four months after refusing to comply with the vaccine mandate.
