After seven years at the TV news station, she heads to University of Texas at San Antonio to be UTSA's assistant director of university communications.
After saying goodbye to KSAT-TV this week, award-winning reporter Tiffany Huertas shared that she won't be leaving San Antonio anytime soon. In a social media post Thursday, Huertas announced that she is now the assistant director of university communications at the University of Texas at San Antonio. 'Joining the UTSA communications team means I’ll be working alongside innovative professionals in a dynamic environment.' The Rio Grande Valley native spent her final day at KSAT-TV on Wednesday, after seven years of telling local stories at the news station. Before heading to KSAT-TV, she was a reporter in Harlingen, Miami and Panama City, Fla.
