Fomer Kaizer Chiefs flop is set to join a new PSL club for the 2024/2025 season after impressing during trials.
Marumo Gallants are finalising a transfer deal for former Kaizer Chiefs winger Kamohelo Mahlatsi as they gear up for the 2024/25 Betway Premiership season. Mahlatsi, who has been trialing with Gallants following his departure from Chippa United, appears ready to secure a move to the Limpopo-based club.
Before his time with Chippa, Mahlatsi had a brief and underwhelming spell at Kaizer Chiefs during the 2022/23 season. At Amakhosi, Mahlatsi played only seven matches across all competitions, failing to establish himself as a regular starter. This lack of game time at both Chippa United and Kaizer Chiefs has been a recurring theme in Mahlatsi’s recent career.Despite his struggles, Mahlatsi’s trial performances have impressed Marumo Gallants’ technical team, led by coach Dan Malesela.
