A former Florida judge told CNN on Wednesday that U.S. District Judge Alieen Cannon, who is overseeing Donald Trump's classified documents case, is 'purposefully' delaying the trial.This week, Cannon, who was appointed to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida by Trump, added two pretrial hearings, further delaying the start of a trial.

It responded: 'Our judges do not comment on pending cases.'In late June, Cannon will hold a hearing on a gag order request from prosecutors that would limit what Trump can publicly say about law enforcement in connection with the FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida, in the summer of 2022 to obtain the classified documents.
